Dear students!

As you know that Pre Mid-Term semester activities have started and load shedding problem is also prevailing in our country. Keeping in view the fact, you all are advised to post your activities as early as possible without waiting for the due date. For your convenience; activity schedule has already been uploaded on VULMS for the current semester, therefore no excuse will be entertained after due date of assignments, quizzes or GDBs.

AOA Tariq bhai

yeh upper wala GDB Business and labor law ka ni hai i think kisi ar GDB ka hai

q k mgt611 ka gdb 13 may ko khula ar us ka question b 13 may ko aana

THE CASE:

ABC a company dealing in Garments business and has large market share among the metropolitans all across Pakistan. Mr. XYZ is a local cloth supplier to different cities. He got into a contract with the company ABC for purchasing a variety of clothes. The company agreed to provide Mr. XYZ the best quality clothes on prices as per the terms of the contract. Both these parties made a contract for two years with each other.

Mr.XYZ found the clothes inline with the terms and conditions of the contract upon the receipt, stood satisfied and decided to extend the contract for a long term for being in profits. After a span of 6 months, Mr XYZ suddenly observed that the quality of the clothes has broken down and are defective as well. He found that the variety of the clothes have fallen down. The reason behind this was that the company sent a poor variety of clothes to the cloth merchant on the same prices.

REQUIREMENT:

You are required to discuss:

  • The kind of contract that took place between the two parties.
  • The act committed by the Garments Company.

very simple question. the contract is valid. enforced by law because it is contract not agreement. both parties are agrred to perform. and free to act upon the agreement.

the second thing that the company does with Mr. XYZ is a fruad and the contract became viodable. now MR. XYZ can leave the contract. or can go to court against company or can ask the comapny to payback his money.

I think it is Commercial Contract (See Page 19 of Handouts)

Dear i think this is voidable agreement because this is enforceable by law and is not free of consent(fraud, misrepresentation, coercion, mistake)

Yep,,,,you are right...Navid Ahmad post is perfect
