PRODUCTION PROCESS CHART

The production process is very long, but easy.

PRODUCTION PROCESS IN DETAIL

  • Each concentrate lot is coded and packed then the next step – the addition of sweetener and water to the concentrates to produce syrups for the products.  The entire syrup manufacturing system must employ precise control over water and sweetener components.

  • The syrup starts with fresh water treated by using a multiple barrier filtration, process to ensure its quality.  In addition to the water and concentrate, sweeteners are added to produce syrup for most products.

  • To turn the syrup into a finished product is the role of bottlers and canners they bring together the essential ingredients, syrup, water and carbon dioxide and transform them into the essence of refreshment.

The mixture of water and syrup, are frequently examined during the production process.  Adding pure carbon dioxide to the mixture in proper proportion, gives a sharable to the soft drinks.

In addition to syrup and beverage quality, packing is also important.

To ensure quality, each bottle is first washed, rinsed and sanitized in hot chlorinated water before being filled up.

Once all the ingredients have been mixed and blended and the bottles are cleaned and sanitized, now comes the step of filing the bottles.  It is a complex process.  Before the bottles can be filled, the bottles must be pressurized.  This allows the force itself to draw the beverages into the bottles.

Once filled, the bottles are then capped.  Efficient caps are used for different bottles; glass bottles are usually packed with metal-iron cap, while plastic bottles are packed with a plastic cap.  After the whole process, the bottles/products are then labeled to prove that it is the product of a company.

The bottles are now ready to the coded.  Each beverage is marked with a special code that identifies specific information about it.  Some codes simply identify the date on which the products were manufactured.

Bottles are inspected on many points, during the process. They are inspected after they are filled.  Inspection makes sure that each bottle has a right amount of beverage or not.

Once the bottles are filled and passed through final inspection, they are ready to be packed.

In order to make sure that fresh beverages, reach to the consumers, each warehouse must efficiently manage to store the products.

From the warehouses, the products are supplied to distinct places, through trucks, day and night.

The plant at Goblej near Ahmedabad is capable of producing 55,000 cases per day. The products are divided into four different lines.

No single competitive marketing strategy is best for all companies.  Strategy is the best for all companies.  Each firm should consider its own size and industry position compared to those of its competitors.  Large firms with dominant position in an industry can use certain strategies that smaller firms cannot afford.  Small firms can develop strategies that give them better rates of return that large firms enjoy.
