Internship Report 

Please read the following instructions carefully before working on the 
Internship Report: 

The Internship Report should be according to the format 
uploaded on the course VULMS. 

You are required to work out on Internship Report strictly in the 
light of instructions and guidelines provided on the course VULMS. 

Include scanned copies of Letter of Undertaking as well as 
Internship Completion Certificate in your Internship Report. 

Submit your Internship Report in MS Word format only. 

Internship Report must be submitted by uploading it against 
Assignment#01 on the course VULMS within due date. Submission 
through E-mail will NOT be entertained. 

Be very careful while uploading your Internship Report as you 
shall not be able to replace it once uploaded. Corrupt files shall NOT 
be considered. 

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Any evidence of plagiarism (if 
found at any instance) shall be strictly dealt as per “ZERO 
TOLERANCE POLICY” of the University. (Read the Plagiarism 
Sensitization Document available in the DOWNLOADS section of the 
course VULMS).

Critical Analysis

During my internship experience in Aziz group of companies I feel that many improvements are still require. All departments of organization are not working according the standard of the international business. “It’s true that the report, we study  Master of Business Administration program from Virtual University of Pakistan is has much disparity since contrast to the life puts into perform”.

Firstly, I observe in this Group the relationship and communication between the top and lower or operational management is not good and strong enough. According to me managers are not authoritative and do not have the rights enough so they should be authoritative. But in this Group of industries I felt that there is CEO’s interference and orders are exists in all departments . The behavior and attitude of these marketers are not good and effective and the customers complaint handling department is also not working effectively. There is too much prejudice and preference must be given to specific customers and not give priority to those who are small and average level but at that level customers are many in numbers. Due to these worse reasons Aziz group of industries is not getting more productive.

This is the modern time of quality seeds almost all farmers are relying on quality and reliable seed. This Group is investing a lot on seed sector but it cannot gain proper output from customers according to sales and quality perspective. Decrease in the sales of Sitara 008 due to poor behavior of complaint handling department. Mustaqbil Zari markaz seeds company of Aziz has been flop in the Agriculture market. Decrease rate of loyal customer causes less sale and it  leads to less productivity and downfall of this group of industries. There must be need of effective marketing and excessive need of loyal customers for the improvement of its repute and sales.  

There are other issues of price and quality level because the price of products are too high and it may be according to the competitor and quality should be outstanding because it is not too attractive and strong. Leakages of chemical problems are there. Marketing and sales departments should improve their work and should make their activities better and more effective. Account and HR department also need to improve. And the rights of employees should take into account in order to get positive response.

Sales staff is the main thing for the Group but the employees of this department are facing many problems. Department’s services should be effective and quick to remove the low results of business.

  • Inadequate feedback system
  • Costly products than competitors
  • Nepotism is strongly being practiced while selection of new internal customers
  • Lack of better communication among staff, higher management and owners of the company.
  • Improper check over employees
  • Unjust ethical behavior with employees
  • Failed to capture the potential market share
  • Complaint handling is poor in this Group.
  • No distribution access in some urban areas
  •  Improper training system for the employees

  • Agree farm have great perception value in mind of customer.
  • There is a slight gap in the market to fulfill customer needs as insecticides currently available are not targeting all kinds of flying and crawling insects
  • Arrival of new technology in LPG, all competitors are using Butane while AAG will use Butane X that has high boiling point, preventing it from bursting up to 70degrees
  • Potential to capture large market share due to big size of market
  • Pakistan is an agree-based country which leads to high focus of government at this sector; by providing subsidies to such business
  • Very few famous brands available in market i.e. we are going towards brand building.



  • Threats of new competitors (entrants)
  • Threat of existing rivalries (Ali Akbar, Welcon and Syngenta Pak etc.)
  • Government is considering Reform General Sales Tax. It will impose the sales tax burden, sale price will increase that will cause downward in demand.
  • Our country is suffering economic downfall
  • Adoption of new / latest technology by competitors
  • Shift in consumer habits to mostly use coils
  • Existence of strong substitutes that are coils and mats
  • Political instability in the country
  • Imported brands entry into insecticide industry
  • Price increase of raw material
  • Many substitutes available for the current products
  • Competitors can copy the stand-alone product
  • Intense competition in the industry
