If a person got 2.37 gpa and then after 7 months research and waited from 2009 till 2018 and he got folloing answer :
From: MSCS Admissions [mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org]
We are sorry to say that you are not eligible for MSCS program admission as your CGPA is lower than 2.50 out of 4.00. However, you may be able to apply for MCS program but maximum 50% course exemption is allowed. After completing MCS with at least 2.50 CGPA, you may be able to apply for MSCS admission.
After qualifying MCS, if you apply for MSCS admission and qualify VU entry test, you will be admitted.
As far course exemptions are concerned, if you have already studied some courses of MCS study scheme with minimum Grade B, you will apply for their exemption and our committee will review your case and may grant you course exemptions of those courses. Then you will not need to study or pay fee for the exempted courses.
Admissions will open in mid-August hopefully.
