from where have you got this formula of "fai" (sorry the math type equation was not being pasted here)
as for the handouts i have not read this formula in them in the topic of conversions. kindly let me know.
it was written for conversion as :
(r,theta,z) convert to (ro,theta, fai)
and there theta=theta then why we have applied the formula of tan? wasnt it meant for fai?

noor fai= fai am just convert pi/2 radian in to  degree pi/2 is equal to 90 degree

phi is not equal to phi. theta is equal to theta and phi is equal to inverse of tan multiplied by r over z.

isnt this so?

noor check this example and follow 

i dont know from where you have dug these formulas but in handouts page number 20 it is clearly stated that theta=theta and phi=tan inverse (r/z)

and google them once too.. you'll see for yourself
