A flying company offers trips in Europe. The company flies three kinds of airplanes: the Boeing 757, the Boeing 767, and the Boeing 777. Each plane is outfitted with tourist, economy, and first-class seats. In Boeing 757, there are 50 tourist, 30 economy, and 32 first class seats. . In Boeing 767, there are 75 tourist, 45 economy, and 50 first class seats.

In Boeing 777, there are 40 tourist, 25 economy, and 30 first class seats.

The number of reservations for its January flight to Germany, 305 reservations for tourist class, 185 Economy class, and 206 first class.

To fill all the seats how many of each kind of plane should the company fly?

An item sells for Rs. 3200. If the markup on the cost is 48%, find the cost and the amount of the markup.

Find the single discount rate that is equivalent to the series discount of 5%, 7% and 11%.

An item that cost Rs. 2300 was marked up 38 % of the selling price.  After some time the item is markdown 30 %.  Calculate the sale price after markdown.

this is wrong. please see what is asked in the question and that is how many planes they need to fly. and how can it be 23005 or 41500 planes
yes my ans is also same.but i don't know it is the right or wrong method bcoz i didn't get the question clearly that what is required.but it look like a matrix question.

Q:1 i have made same matrices but don't have any hint to solve the problem. I'll make my own calculations but give some idea.
Q:2 This is not because excel returns an error but also the given matrix is not a square matrix and inverse of matrix other than a square matrix is not possible.

is not a matrix question . i think its a ratio question
to fillfull the reservation company has to fly
boeing 757 3 planes
boeing 767 1 planes
boeing 777 2 planes

As in
boieng 757 767 777
Tourist 50 75 40 and reservation for tourist is 305
50*3 75*1 40*2
150 75 40 = 150+75+80 =305

as in
boieng 757 767 777
economy 30 45 25 and reservation is 185 for economy
30*3 45*1 25*2
90 45 50 = 90+45+50=185
and third is same

but i m confused about this method too complicated
