Question

6x-3y+10=0

       2x+y+9=0

Answer

Given equation

6x-3y+10=0 ,,,,,,,,,,,,give the name equation (1)

       2x+y+9=0,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,give the name equation (2)

(multiply 3 on both side in equation 2)

  • 3(2x+y+9)=(3)0
  • 6x+3y+27=0 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, give the name equation (3)

Now we will add equation 1 and equation 3

6x-3y+10=0

6x+3y+27=0

12x+0+37=0

12x=-37

X= -37/12

We will find the value of x = -37/12

So now we will find the value of y

We will put the value of x in equation 1

6x-3y+10=0

6(-37/12)+3y+10=0

-37/2 + 3y +10=0

-37+6y+20=0

          2

=-37+6y+20=0(2)

  • -17+6y=0
  • 6y=17
  • Y=17/6

So we find the value of x and y =(-37/12, 17/6)
