In MTH101, you have taught about the derivatives, whenever it is asked about the Geometric Interpretation of Derivatives. Then it is answered to be the slope of Tangent line to the curve y = f(x) , at any point say P(x,y).

        So here you see that it does not mean to draw it geometrically. In the similar way for the given GDB, you have to mention geometry (no need to draw) of basis in case of asked replacements.

       Standard basis variable are given , we multiply them by a1,a2,a3  now  make three equations and comparing with (4,3,6)and (4,0,6) we obtain the value a1,a2,a3
