"DIVIDED DIFFERENCES" 

the 1^st order...goes with this formula... y[x₀,x₁] = y₁-y₀/x₁-x₀

the 2^nd order formula.... y[x₀,x₁,x₂] = y[x₁,x₂]-y[x₀,x₁]/x₂-x₀

if u follow the handout 1st order is correct but 2nd and 3rd order is not correct in my point of view. plz tell me if i am wrong.......

Construct the Newton’s divided difference table for values of x=1,2,3,4,5,6 and f(x)= -3,0,15,48,105,192. 

this example is given in handout on page no.138 see 

also tell me correct my answer is:  

2nd difference= 9, 8, -2

3rd difference = 5.75, -4.68
