here is the solution of Question NO. 3 P1

for 2nd Q..

we have to find Vr1 and Vr2 just..

basically this is a series circuit so its current is constant ..so current is constant for whole circuit..and current is also given in R2 ..it is nt just for R2 its for all resistances..

further we have a R1 is given and current is given so we can find Vr1 very easily ..Vr1=IR1

next we have Vr1,Vr3  and S so we can use this formula to determine Vr2..

S=vr1+vr2+vr3

where s is a external source ..

i think its enough to tell u

Rt=total Resistance ..it just calculated by combinations of resistances ..like series and parallel..

series resistances combine by simply adding..

parallel resistances combine ..R1*R2/R1+R2...

final resitance value is 13.87
