  • Use Math Type or Equation Editor etc for mathematical symbols.   
  • This is not a group assignment, it is an individual assignment so be careful and avoid copying others’ work. If some assignment is found to be copy of some other, both will be awarded zero marks.   • You can draw circuit diagrams in “Paint”, “Corel Draw” or any software. The simple and easy way is to copy the given image in Paint and do the required changes in it.    

    Q 1:   

    Find the current I0 of the given network, by using superposition method. Write each step of calculation. Draw the circuit diagram where necessary and mention the units of calculated values. 

     

     

     

       

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Q 2:

    Find the Norton equivalent circuit for the portion of the network to the left of a-b in given figure. Show each step of calculation otherwise you will lose your marks. Draw and label the circuit diagram of each step and also mention the units of each derived value

    Q 3:

    Find Rth (Thevenin’s resistance ), Vth (Thevenin’s Voltage)  . Draw thevenin’s equivalent circuit and find Vo across 6Ω resistor.

    Draw and label the circuit diagram, otherwise you will lose your marks. Write each step of calculationand also mention the units of each derived values.
