“Usually mobile phone battery require very low level DC voltage and current for charging, while our house hold wiring contains high level AC voltage (220V) and sinusoidal current(AC). How this becomes possible for Charger to overcome this issue?”

Our main purpose here discussion not just Solution

All students must share points and also your problems.... so it can discussed and solution can prepare.

Don’t wait for solutions just participate in Discussions because after discussions a correct solution will prepare...

In mobile chargers 1st thing was a step down transformer which steps down the voltage and current coming from sockets and then there is a rectifier (normally a bridge rectifier is used) that converts or rectify A.C voltages and current coming from transformer which is Alternating current (AC) to Direct Current (D.C) which is given to the battery of mobile fine to charge.

This is the whole working of a mobile charger :P

 Charger collects 220V from A.C Supply and then converts into required level through transformer.  After this A.C voltage converts in to D.C voltage and this current used for mobile charging.


Now you should changed and expand above solution normally and prepared your GDB.
