Discussion Question:

Asma (student of BS Psychology) was traveling through a public transport where a woman started talking to her and got to know that Asma is studying psychology. Out of curiosity, she said to Asma, “tell me about my personality” considering her a magician. What do you think, what Asma will say while replying her or in other words, how she will clarify her position?

Asma should say that psychology is not a subject that makes someone magician.Psychology is a subject in which we read about behavior and mental processes of human. Personality judgment depends on how you focus on someone’s attitude and behavior.

Asma can judge her by different ways:-

By eyes:-

  1. If it's straight to your face they'll be Down to earth then she is Honest.
  2. If it slightly wonders around then she is shy or curious.
  3. If they don’t look at you then she is not interested and is rude.

By shoes:-

  1. People with higher incomes most commonly wore expensive shoes, and flashier footwear was typically worn by extroverts.
  2. "Practical and functional" shoes were generally worn by more "agreeable" people, while ankle boots were more closely aligned with "aggressive" personalities.
  3. The strangest of all may be that  those who wore "uncomfortable looking" shoes tend to have "calm" pe....

By dressing:-

  1. If she wore pantsuit-and certainly nobody would doubt her confidence or competence-showing a little leg (tastefully, of course) may work better for you.
  2. Women in skirt suits were thought to earn more money and be more confident than those in pantsuits.
  3. Wearing the right outfit can also change your self-perception.

By makeup:-

  1. Brushing on a little shadow or blush can not only up your attractiveness factor, it can make you appear more confident.
  2. women wearing a little makeup were more likeable, competent, and trustworthy than those with bare faces.
  3. Too much makeup still made women attractive, but they also seemed untrustworthy and dishonest, especially when participants only got a quick glimpse of the woman.
