It is natural in girls that they express more. They choose to speak. So socially women are also labelled as highly sensitive. This sensitivity often leads them to "anger" and sometimes "impulsion". Women are naturally attracted towards relationships. They want to make relations forever. This tendency of forever keep them "insecure" about relationships. Women are also very sensitive towards self image. And they really care about what people will think. So when women try to be better in someone else eyes they often lead to "unstable n unclear self image". Continuously seeking "social approval" and "trying to be better" leads them to "extreme emotional swings" this is the reason women are more diagnose with borderline personality disorder than men.

According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV), about 75 percent of people who are diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) are women. Borderline Personality Disorder happens more often in women because they are socialized to be more dependent on others (a symptom of BPD) and can be more sensitive to rejection. About 75 percent of women with BPD have been physically or sexually abused, according to the study.
Such early abuse tends to create a sense of victimization that can make it difficult for these women to trust men. It can also create the excessive preoccupation with sexuality and a damaged self-image that are characteristic symptoms of women with BPD. Biological and sociocultural factors provide potentially illuminating hypotheses, should the true prevalence of BPD differ by gender.
