There are three students who work on a mini project that is intended to investigate the relationship between daily walking and cholesterol levels among women of different age groups. Each of them uses the different method of data collection. Your task is to identify as well as justify which method of data collection is operational in
which part of the given information:
· Ahmer measures cholesterol levels in daily walkers across two age groups of women, over 40 and below 40 and compare these to cholesterol levels among non-walkers in the same age groups of women at a single point in time. He concludes that there is a difference between cholesterol levels of daily walkers and non-walkers.
· Ali wants to study a single group over time. He investigates the change of cholesterol level of women who are under 40 years old and walk daily for a period of 20 years. He needs to know the effect of cholesterol level on daily walkers. He concludes that walking behavior reduces the cholesterol levels of women which in turn reduce the chances of obesity and heart issues.
· Hassan studies the relationship between cholesterol levels of women of age groups, over 40 and below 40 who walk daily and those who do not walk for a period of 20 years. He concludes that there is a significant difference between the cholesterol levels
