guys i got the solution of question 2 part 1st but find a problem please tell me from where we use the table of areaS in order to find out the value of 0<Z<2.381 FOR getting the right answer.

we can find the value  from z table of areas under the normal curve  from http://www.pinkmonkey.com/studyguides/subjects/stats/appendix/s58.gif

how can we find correct value from this table i'm littel confussed...


we want to find the value of 2.38 so in first colum 2.3 and in 9th row 0.4913  coz table strt from 0.00 and we want the value of 8 which cum in 9th row 

i solved first 2 questions but don't know its right or wrong please confirme the answers

Question 1a: mean= 20 and variance = 7.84

Question 1b -3.94<= mean <= 5.54

the answer number of Q1a is correct but Q1b  answer  is different from my answer so i dnt knw ur answer is right or my 

how did you find 2.38??? will you explain this...
