Dear change the preferences of mathtype software. Do the following steps:

1. Open mathtype and write formulas

2. Click on 'preferences' and select 'cut and copy preferences

3. Make selections as shown in image below:

4. Now copy and paste in GDB. First formula will look something like this:

$\overline X = \frac{{\sum X }}{n}$
