a)      Construct a frequency distribution table where the class interval is 12, the number of classes is 6 and the smallest observation is 49 (lowest class limit). Also build the column of the relative frequency. The data is given below:

Make a stem and leaf display for the data.

b)      Which variable (Discrete or Continuous) is more suitable in the following examples?

  • The content of a bottle of fluid is quoted as 1025 ml.
  • People are asked to state their age at their birthday. 
  • People are asked to state how many times in the last month they visited their family doctor.
  • The height of trees at a nursery.

1)Arrange the list in ascending order like : 11,12,13,23......... 

2)then take first common number out i mean to say take 1 as stem ..then take the numbers stating with 1

wrong ha. lowest class regarding question no.2. should be 49. not 48. formula to upper class limit is that we subtract one from first next lower class e.g 62-1
