Total questions were 26.
MCQs were 20, from past paper and very easy.
Do learn all the concepts of Probability.

Subjective questions were 6. 
Two of two marks, Two of 3marks and 2 of Five marks.

Complete the formula for Conditional probability P (A/B) = P( A intersection B) / ? (2marks)
what is "five number summary" (2marks)

P(A) = 0.60, P(B) = 0.40 P(A intersecrion B) = 0.24, Find P(AUB) = ? (3marks)
Find the skewness, mean and mode were given? (3marks)

Find the two moment mean of the following ungrouped data.(5marks)
Two dice are rolled write it's sample space and what is the probability that 5 will occur (5 marks)

My today's STA301 paper:

Total marks: 40

Total qs: 26

Total mcqs: 20

The subjective questions were:

  1. Which numbers are included in five number summary? (2 marks)
  2. Find out the missing element: P(A/B)=P(A intersection B)/? (2 marks)
  3. The values of Xo, Q2 (median) and Xm were given, we had to discuss the skewness of the distribution. (3 marks)
  4. A committee of of four members is to be chosen from a total of ten persons. In how many ways this could be done? (the formula was also to be written). (3 marks)
  5. Sets A, B and S were given, prove: AUB (complement)=A(complement) intersection B(complement), (Demorgan's law). (5 marks)
  6. The values of X were given, had to calculate the coeffecient of skewness. (5 marks)

very easy for me...about 10 question was of playing cards exAMLE....another example of pair die and tossed dice were also in mcqs. 

all MCQs were repeated and came from this forum helpline..but 2 long questions were lil difficult.
