Grilling brings out all kinds of wonderful flavors in potatoes. The vegetable works wonderfully with many quick and easy recipes. Try out some of these ten grilled potato recipes below and let me know what you think..

1. Quick-and Easy-Potato

Quick-and Easy-Potato has a taste that’s similar to baked potato, but is more delicious thanks to the crispiness that the grilling gives it. All you need is a couple of russet potatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper. Cook your potatoes in the microwave at high power for about 5 minutes, slice them, brush them with olive oil and grill them for about 20 minutes. Your potatoes are ready to dig into.

2. Cheesy scalloped potato

It’s hard to go wrong with grilled potato covered in melted cheese. Slice up a potato, lay them out on a greased casserole dish and cover with slices of cheddar cheese. Dust the cheese with flour, salt and pepper, and pour a cup of skim milk over the potatoes. The dish goes into an oven preheated to 350°F. Your potatoes will be crispy and cheesy in about 45 minutes.

3. Grilled baked potato

Start with 4 large baking potatoes. Quarter them and boil them in water for 10 minutes. Toss the potatoes in a mixture of olive oil, pepper, garlic powder, salt and rosemary, and grill for about 20 minutes. Brush with more olive oil when you take them out, and serve.

4. Grilled garlic potato

Start with medium-sized baking potatoes. Slice them and lay them out over aluminum foil on a grill. Place slices of onion and butter among the potato slices and garnish with minced garlic, salt, pepper and chopped parsley. With another sheet of aluminum foil covering the ingredients, you set the grill to high heat and cook for 20 minutes. Finally, take off the aluminum, sprinkle the potatoes with shredded cheddar cheese and cook some more until the cheese melts.

5. Grilled potatoes with Italian seasoning

Get a large piece of aluminum foil and coat it with a tablespoon of butter. Sprinkle garlic powder, pepper, salt and Italian seasoning over it. Place a medium-sized potato on the foil and tightly wrap the foil over the potato. An hour on the grill should turn the potato soft and allow it to absorb the flavor of the butter and the seasoning.

6. Grilled cheese and bacon potato

Lay out a large square of aluminum foil and place two slices of bacon on it. Place a potato between the bacon and top it with a slice of cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and tightly fold up the aluminum foil to pack everything in. After 30 minutes on the grill at high heat, you will have a rich, cheesy treat to dig into. You could even put sour cream and butter on it for extra taste.

7. Grilled potato chips

Slice a potato into thin chips and coat with olive oil and salt. Place a grill pan on the grill and arrange the chips on the pan. The chips should cook for 5 minutes on each side until they are well-browned. These chips go well with any dip you choose.

8. Barbecued potatoes

Wash a potato, wrap it in aluminum foil and cook on a grill that’s set to medium heat. Remove and unpack after an hour, cube the potato and place the pieces in a bowl. Dress them in sour cream and ranch dressing, butter, cheese and bacon bits. You’ll have a delicious, classic snack in no time.

9. Smoke-baked herb potato

Coat Yukon gold potatoes with bacon grease all over and roll them in a herb mixture made of sage, garlic, parsley, pepper, paprika, sugar and salt. Once each potato is completely covered, place it on a smoker grill and cook at 250°F for an hour, turning occasionally. Your potatoes will turn out crunchy and aromatic

10. Extra-crispy Idaho potato

Boil Idaho potatoes in salted water for 10 to 20 minutes (depending on how large they are) until they are partially cooked. Drain them, cool them and slice them into inch-thick slices. Arrange them on a skewer, place on a grill and baste with a mixture of olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Your potatoes should be extra-crispy after about 10 minutes on the grill.
