3 Famous Thickest Books – Challenge For Bookworms

Books are often conceived as the storehouse of knowledge and the alter ego of humans that can convey the feelings of the writer through words and convey them to readers. Often people read books due to two reasons; either they derive the sheer joy that comes with it or to increase their knowledge quotient. Anyways, real book lovers read them without fussing over the number of words or the number of pages, but some books are really long and thick and yes, they require a mention of the number of words they contain! So here is the list of 3 famous thickest/longest books compiled together that have been loved by the readers and at the same time have been quoted as being just too long’. Have a look:

1. Mission Earth: This L. Ron Hubbard book is the thickest and longest book published until now. The book is about aliens coming down to invade Earth and the following chaos and the writer did his best to complete the book in a single book, although the book is available in ten series to avoid the complexity. Mission Earth is all of 1.2 million words, but is very popular among the readers. The total 10 volumes of the book sum up to around 3992 pages.

2. Sironia Texas: The novel is all of 1,100,000 words and is considered to be among the destroyed works of Madison Copper since it being out of print. The novel is set in the town of Sironia in Texas and is loosely based on the real life of the author himself. This novel is said to have 1731 pages.

3. Clarissa: This novel written by Samuel Richardson talks about the female protagonist Clarissa and the ups and down faced by her in life. The oldest edition of the book is all of 969,000 words although the later editions have crossed over 1, 000,000 words published over 1534 pages.
