The abuse of Public power for private benefit is called Corruption. It not only in Private Sectors but also in Government Sectors.

Factors that promote Corruption

Two factors that promote Corruption are:

Ø  Indirect Factors

Direct Factors:

Corruption is generally concerned with the activities of the state and especially with the monopoly and discretionary power of the State.

Ø  Regulations And Authorizations

Ø  Taxation

Ø  Spending Decisions

Ø  Provision for goods and services at below market prices

Ø  Financing Of Parties

Indirect Factors

Besides the Factors that promote Corruption directly, discussed in the previous section , other factors can contribute to Corruption indirectly. Some of these are discussed briefly in this section.
