Organise your life
Plan your future purposefully. Just keep in mind what you have to do, how you have to achieve your goal and how much time you need for it. After making this clear in your mind, be determined about your decisions and follow the rules. Remember, improved organisation can help free up your powers for better concentration.
A good diet
This means always eat plenty of fruits and vegetables as well as fibrous staples, such as wholemeal bread and brown rice. It is always better to have white meat than red meat.
Stay away from fast food like burgers, rolls, fries, etc., as they contain saturated fats which act as a slow poison to your body in the long run. What’s good for the body is good for the mind, so healthy food will go a long way to improve your memory.
Most of us just say that sleep is necessary but very few people understand the importance of sleep and schedule their sleeping pattern in the right way. To start afresh every morning, you need to have a minimum of six to eight hours of sleep at night. Do not stay up late in the night as it will make you lazy the next day and affect your memory process.
Regularly exercising your brain keeps it alert and spurs the development of new nerve connections that can help improve the memory. Learn new and complex skills like challenging your brain with memory games such as chess, bingo, Sudoku and other puzzle games. It will keep your brain active and to function physiologically better.

However, regular aerobic exercise also helps improved blood circulation throughout the body and can ward off memory loss which comes with aging and other unplanned activities, it will eventually improve your memory.
Stress or depression doesn’t physically harm you, and its effects are also not visible for a long time but there comes a time when your mind becomes exhausted and it gets difficult for you to recall anything. Prolonged stress harms your memory severely. Try to be relaxed as stress cannot be completely eliminated but can be controlled.
Limit external influences
Too much attention to newspapers, TV, radio and computer is not good for you. Too much of everything at such a tender age as of yours is not a good idea. However, if you cannot escape from the nuisance around you then try to focus on the positive side and do not overload your mind with images. Remember, limiting external influences will give you clarity of thoughts and clarity of mind.
