Surayya was walking through a crowded street of Mumbai 'Hold my hand tight "she told her son ,Iqbal. "Yeah sure momma "came the reply. As she walked she bought daily commodities and things she needed for her house. She had to leave Iqbal's hand to take money from the purse .Suddenly she noticed Iqbal was gone Her sixth sense had made her warn him yet he had left her hand
He must be here close by she thought ,but till where her eyes could stretch she could not see him ,Where could he have gone? "Iqbal!!Iqbal !"she started calling out .But there was no reply the man at the shop called out "Madam take your five hundred rupees back".She didn't want to reply him .Tears dropped from her eyes.He was standing right under my nose where could he have gone.Thoughts started creeping could he have been kidnapped?Who will take him?what will i tell his father?another big tear dropped.
"Madam " another voice called "one of your grocery bag has torn its spilling, "She ignored him All that mattered was where had her son disappeared suddenly. She started running about frantically on the street it was the umpteenth time that she had come back to that shop selling handbags.
"O Allah where has he gone O Allah please help me" she was desperately praying drenched in sweat and tears. Her only son born after five years and no hope of having another child what would she tell his father?
Many people had surrounded her "Would like to go the police? "someone suggested " One shop keeper asked, "How many years old what was he wearing?" "white Kurta.. Iqbal...3 and half years she babbled "She was no mood to speak in the front of her eye was her Iqbal .
Suddenly a person approached ,he said "Has anyone lost a chid here it was announced in a mosque at the main junction road "That was atleast half an hours walk from the shopping area .Surayya lost her sound when she opened to scream .With hastened steps she took a cab to shorten the anxiety and got off giving away thrice the amount to the taxi driver.
As soon as she reached the mosque she pierced the small crowd gathered too and ran to embrace his weeping son in between sobs she whispered "Alhamdulillah"
This is a mothers love .Allah swt too loves us. He says Ch82 V 6 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, and also “So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me”. [Quran 2: 152]
Umar Ibn al-Khattab (ra) relates that some prisoners were brought before Allah’s Messenger (saw) and amongst them was a woman who was frantically searching for someone in the crowd. When she found a baby amongst the prisoners, she took it in her arms, cradled it next to her chest and suckled it. So Allah’s Messenger (saw) said: “Do you think that this woman would ever throw her child into the fire?” We said: ‘By Allah, Never!’ So he said: “Allah is more merciful to His believing servants than that mother could ever be to her child.” [Bukhari (10/426) & Muslim (18/80)]
Mothers sometimes punish, or spank too but Allah swt says “What would Allaah do with [i.e., gain from] your punishment if you are grateful and believe?...” [Quran 4: 147] He loves us so much He does not want to punish us either
Prophet ﷺ (peace be upon him) said to the people of Madina was “O people! Love Allah with all of your hearts for what He has given you from blessings…” Allah (swt) says in the Qur’an: “And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them.” [14:34 ] WRITTEN by Umme Muhammad All rights reserved @Allah swt's presence
