Three fall from 13-storey building as fire engulfs Lahore’s LDA plaza Today 09-05-2013

The building caught fire on Thursday and quickly intensified spreading to three floors of the tall building.

Many other people were stranded on the building who tried to escape using makeshift arrangements.

Three persons fell from the seventh floor while trying to escape the blaze.

The injured persons who had fallen was taken to Nishtar hospital where one of the wounded succumbed to his wounds.

Emergency and firefighting teams had reached the site and were trying to bring the fire under control.

Rescue teams were using helicopters to airlift the stranded occupants out of the burning building

my office more or less in front of LDA Plaza, yesterday was a terrifying day for me...but most terrifying scene was that...about 80% youngsters/peoples was waiting for a SPECIAL CLIP, holding their mobiles recording videos...I observed a wave of happiness on their faces when they captured a falling person in their mobiles....Khuda hamari haalit pe reham karay...Behissi intehaa ko pohanch chuki hai
