Top Ten tips to Stay Healthy In Winter..!!

During the winter, we tend to viruses or colds. It used to be believed that we are moresusceptible to colds because we spend more time indoors, particularly in schools and offices where it keeps a lot of people who pass colds to their families. Some scientists argue that we are prone to diseases due to shorter days in winter and a lack of vitamin D, which can affect thebalance of hormones, which in turn reduces immunity. Some viruses are more easily transmitted at low temperatures and low humidity. Wind dries out the mucous membranes of the nose, making it vulnerable to infection.

10 – Volatile oil:

Lavender oil and tea tree essential oils that help fight viruses and bacteria. Can prevent colds and flu, and help in the treatment when we are already sick

9 – Fresh fruit juice:

Freshly squeezed orange juice is a great tasting and healthy. Helps to fight winter bacteria and viruses

8 – A lot of water:

Drinking enough water is important all year round, and in winter it is easy to become dehydrated, and that we are not even aware of. In the water, add the lemon that will helpbalance the pH. If you do not like to drink water with lemon, add stevia and make healthy lemonade. Gargling with salt water will kill the germs in the throat

7 – Fresh air:

Indoor and dry air are often the cause of disease, so it is extremely important to spend enough time in the fresh air, especially around noon. When we spend time outside in in a cold, sunny winter days, improves our mood and fill up your energy. Exposure to light and improves the immune system and prevent winter depression

6 – Spices:

Winter is the perfect time to add a little spice in cooking. Spices like pepper and hot peppers are a good way to raise the body temperature in the coldest winter days

5 – Tea:

We know that winter teas help in preventing and treating colds and flu. Ginger tea is especially good domestic methods for prevention of disease. In Greece you drink chamomile tea with honey and brandy Metaxa. Make chamomile tea with cinnamon, clove, lemon, honey and brandy

4 – Probiotics:

Probiotics are essential in the fight against the disease. It is a “healthy bacteria” found in yogurt, cheese. Assist the health of the gut is crucial in preventing the disease as quickly removeviruses and bacteria. It is believed to have a major role in the proper functioning of the immune system by producing certain vitamins

3 – Exercise:

Research shows that exercise improves the immune system and helps the body to fight off infections, and stress. During the winter it is important to stay active, but if you are sick, it is recommended bed rest. Practice yoga, and exercising facial grimaces Leo several times a day will help in the fight against colds because it brings blood to the throat and thus makes the germs

2 – Air purifier:

In indoors for heating purposes is extremely dry air. Underwear hang in there, get home and put the plant pots with water near a heat source such as a radiator and gas stove

1 – Fruit and Vegetables:

diet rich in fruits and vegetables throughout the year contributes to the health and the winter is especially important. Every day you can nibble on raw vegetables, such as celery and carrots, to prevent winter illnesses
