Worlds Shortest Commercial Flight of LoganAir 

Loganair, a Scottish airline, operates Britten-Norman Islanders that fly from Papa Westray Airport to Westray and Kirkwall. The flights from Papa Westray to Westray is the world's shortest scheduled flight of 2.7km around 2 minutes. Tickets are priced at about $30 per passenger with no in-flight service.

There are ferries from Papa Westray to Westray, though they are slightly longer. Westray has a population of 550, and its main industries are fishing, fish farming, and cattle farming. 

Papa Westray, one of the Orkney Islands in Scotland, has a population of 70 and is home to the record of the world's shortest regular commercial flight. The island is also notable for its plan to make the island self sufficient with renewable energy by the end of 2012.
